I read this in some essay somewhere and thought it was comical.

" Becoming a member of a Christian dating service is not considered erroneous, as long as the person accepts the rules of dating in Christianity. A search for a good Christian dating service produces immeasurable results — there are too many to choose from. However, it pays to exercise prudence while contacting and subscribing to these services."

Christians have rules for dating? Since when?

I think there ARE rules. I'm reminded of the joke about the couple about to be married who ask the pastor about having sex in different positions. Always, his answer is the same, "You are married, it's beautiful, go ahead," UNTIL they ask about having sex standing up. "NO, absolutely not!" But why, if all these other positions are OK?" "People might think you're dancing."
